I've finally taken the plunge... my first steps into blogosphere...
Why did it take me so long to get on the blogging bandwagon? Although I've always been a great fan of good blogs (and bloggers), and have been lurking around reading hundreds of blogs in areas that interest me for a number of years now, I was somehow averse to the idea of creating a blog of my own for these reasons :
- I'm not comfortable talking about myself and sharing my private thoughts on a public forum
- It's after a long time that I've got a break from work, so I feel I can finally dedicate sometime to blogging.
- I have the attention span of a butterfly, so was not sure if I would have the energy to make regular entries on the blog
Does the creating of this blog then mean that I no longer care about my privacy? Or that I have suddenly become a strict self disciplinarian? Certainly not. I'm just willing to give myself a chance. To test the waters; to see if this works. As I'm writing these few lines, I'm already feeling good. And I guess that's what it is all about.
And in the process, if I do meet like minded travelers in blogosphere, I'll be more than happy to interact with them, learn from them.
I'm yet to decide what my blog will be all about - Should it be a blog on books or movies or pets? Should it be on Knowledge Management, or any other related Technology? Or should it highlight my culinary prowess (or ineptitude) in the kitchen Or should it be on the wonderful trips I've made, the places I've seen and the ones I want to see .... Hmm... The possibilities are many.
But for now, it is just as the title suggests “The random musings of an Inscrutable Indian" ... and the operative word here is "Inscrutable" ;)
